Southridge Students Stand for Excellence through Growth and Kindness!

Southridge Kindness Club recently made over 50 tie blankets for the Denver’s Children Hospital (NICU). This project was lead by Alisha Hill and her daughter. Thanks to all the parents and staff that tied and washed blankets! The blankets are being sent down to Denver this weekend! This project was just one of many taken on by the students, staff, and families who are part of the club. Last month, students in the Kindness Club visited the Casper Humane Society for the “Tales of Tale” program. Great work students!

Kindness Club Leader, Tracey Kegler, is in her 3rd year of working with students and families to share kindness throughout the community, “Our Kindness Club motto is “Kindness Everywhere.” The students have a big Cardboard Challenge and Art Auction on Nov 16th. The kids create games for the rest of the school to play. It is a free event (donations welcomed). This is how we raise money to fund our acts. This month we are doing Food for Thought, The Humane Society, Physical Therapist, Dentist, Firefighters, and Customer Service workers.”

Over 90 students are part of the Southridge Kindness Club! Great work students!
