School is out!

The last day of school for NCSD students was Thursday, June 7. Enjoy the summer break! Next school year begins Tuesday, September 4th.

Summer Food Program: Free Food for Kids starting June 7

Summer is right around the corner, and it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out. Once again this year the Natrona County School District is partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer.

NCSD Students Participate in Young Authors Writing Competition

NCSD students competed in the Young Authors writing competition this spring. First place winners in each category at each grade level at the local meet were then forwarded on to the state competition.
At the state competition there were five 1st place winners from NCSD:
Tyler Tucker – The Color of Hockey – Natrona Virtual School
Maren Worthen – The Mystery of the Golden Knight – Homeschool/Bar Nunn Elementary
Alexis Worthen – 45 Days of the Nutcracker – Natrona Virtual Learning
Abigail Blesi – Rainy Mourning – Kelly Walsh High School
Rayne Hamm – Variations of Love, Loss and Overcoming – Kelly Walsh High School

Congratulations to these students for their excellent work!
