Students will be out of school on Monday, February 19 in observance of President’s Day. We’ll see everyone back on Tuesday!


Board of Trustees Meeting Report – Feb. 12

The NCSD Board of Trustees met on February 12. They discussed bullying policies and procedures, approved new positions for some administrators, and made revisions to the parent-community night (Wednesday) policy.

Holocaust Survivor Presentation – Mar. 10

Inga McCoy of KWHS, John Trohkimoinen from NCHS, and Lance Jones from Casper College have put together a Holocaust Seminar March 8-10 in Casper. It is free and open to the public.

The closing session on Saturday afternoon is a presentation from Holocaust survivor Inge Auerbacher. This session will be held in the auditorium at Natrona County High School. Tickets are free to this presentation, but are required for admission and can be obtained  here.


2018-19 NCSD Preschool Registration Information

Registration for NCSD’s preschool program will be from May 1-31, 2018.

Seven schools in Natrona County will host half-day preschool programs during the 2018–19 school year: Bar Nunn, Cottonwood, Evansville, Journey, Lincoln, Midwest, and Pineview Elementary Schools. Preschool students must be 3 or older by September 15, 2018.

Title II State-Level Uses of Funds Survey

The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) has developed a needs assessment survey regarding professional development. It will help guide decision-making about which professional development activities will be coordinated and delivered by the WDE.

Wyoming school personnel, parents, and community members are invited to participate in this survey to help determine what activities will be offered by the WDE to augment professional development initiatives with the goal of preparing, training, and recruiting high-quality teachers, principals, and other school leaders. Click here to take the survey.

This survey will be open until February 28, 2018.
