NCSD Schools and Buildings Closed – March 16th through April 5th, 2020

Based on the recommendation of Governor Gordon and State Superintendent Jillian Balow, all NCSD schools and buildings will close starting tomorrow, Monday, March 16th.

Schools will remain closed until April 5th, 2020.

NCSD will share additional details and further information with parents, guardians, and staff as soon as possible in the coming days.

We will continue working in direct collaboration with the Casper Natrona County Public Health Department, the Wyoming Department of Health, the Natrona County Emergency Management Office, and the Wyoming Department of Education to monitor information and updates as related to the Coronavirus.

The safety of our students, staff, and school families remains our top priority. We appreciate the patience and support of our community as we work together to keep our schools, families, and community safe.

If students must do their school work from home, will you be providing laptop computers for them?

If school is closed why are teachers sending remind notices requiring students to participate in classes or online modules. Is there a curriculum that has been decided to follow at this time? If so where can we find it and what is the official procedure?
