NCSD Quarterly Report: Certification Programs Offered Through P.I.C. Classes

Natrona County School District (NCSD) has released their 2017-18 Quarter 2 Quarterly Report. The purpose of the report is to share information with district stakeholders about NCSD’s current state of performance and the progress the district is making toward its Strategic Plan.

Included in the Quarter 2 report are the Certification Programs available to students in 2017-18. As part of the Student Growth and High Academic Achievement portion of the Strategic Plan and in support of the strategy of implementing “Academy Based Learning approaches and principles”, NCSD offers the possibility for students to become certified in 16 different areas before they leave high school. These certifications are available to students through welding, auto, heavy equipment operator, construction, food services, and nursing courses offered at the Pathways Innovation Center (P.I.C.)

To get a first-hand look at these courses and their corresponding certifications, make plans to attend the P.I.C. open house on Thursday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m. (Please see flyers below.)
