Teacher Appreciation Week!

May 4th – 8th was Teacher Appreciation Week! Teachers work whole-heartedly to do everything they can to teach, support, encourage, and help their students, their colleagues, their schools, and the community. To celebrate them we made a couple videos this week!

Natrona County School District Board of Trustees’ Upcoming Meeting

The Natrona County School District Board of Trustee’s upcoming May 11th, 2020, meeting will be a virtual meeting live-streamed for public viewing on NCSD’s YouTube channel. (https://www.youtube.com/user/NatronaCountySD1) This is being done to follow state and county health orders and the guidance of health officials.

The Work Session will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Regular Session at 7:00 p.m.

We recognize the significant impact of COVID19 on our entire community, specifically as related to school closures and the adaptive virtual learning environment. We greatly value the experiences, thoughts, and feedback of all stakeholders as together we navigate these unprecedented times.

Stakeholders may submit their feedback to the Board of Trustees by emailing communications@myncsd.org. The comments will be collected, without alteration, and submitted to the Board of Trustees.

The last day of the 2019-2020 school year will be June 8, 2020.

2020 Census

The 2020 Census is right around the corner! A kindergartener counted in the 2020 Census will be starting high school when the next census comes around in 2030: That’s 10 years of school supplies, teachers, school lunches, and so much more!

Food Service Sites

NCSD Food Service will provide takeaway breakfast and lunch meals, M-F, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, to all individuals 18 years and under at the below-listed locations.

Any individual 18 years and under can come to pick-up the meals, you do not need to be on Free and Reduced Lunch. There is no application process or questions asked, we are here to help.

We are asking for individuals to assist us in following the Casper Natrona County Health Department’s social distancing guidelines.

Individuals may pick-up meals for their siblings and family members 18 years and under to help assist in maintaining social distancing.

Signage will be outside to direct individuals where to pick-up the meal.
