Wyoming Food for Thought Seeking Volunteers for Spring Break Packing

For the Spring Break packing, which will take place at our Program Center at 4pm on Wednesday, March 20th, we will pack 9 days’ worth of food for 750 children throughout Natrona County. This will total out to roughly 24,000 meals for this packing alone, which is a lot of food! We are asking for help from our community and friends to help supply us with enough food and funds to make this a great Spring Break bag for these children. Anyone interested in helping can volunteer or collect food donation. Food drive donations would need to be dropped off at our Program Center no later than Monday, March 18th. Specifically, we are looking for soup, chef boyardee, mac n cheese, canned tuna, peanut butter, canned veggies, and fruit cups. To learn more about Food for Thought, our volunteer opportunities, or to make a monetary donation, visit our website at  www.wyfftp.org or give us a call today at 307.337.1703.

This 8-day, 7-night camp will run from Saturday, July 13th to Saturday, July 20th. Students will experience life on the University of Wyoming campus while staying in the residence halls and exploring the science, engineering, math and technology behind a return to the moon (and beyond!).
