NCSD Graduation Rate Information

The Wyoming Department of Education has released the four-year, on-time graduation rate data for the class of 2018. The overall graduation rate for the Natrona County School District is 78% for the class of 2018. Over the past 5 years, as outlined in NCSD’s Strategic Plan, the district has been steadily working towards increasing the graduation rate to at least 85% of students by the year 2019. While the overall graduation rate for the district saw a slight decrease of 1.3 percentage points for 2018, we have seen a steady improvement with a 3.9 percentage point increase in the past 5 years.

2018 = 78.0%

2017 = 79.3%

2016 = 76.6 %

2015 = 76.5%

2014 = 75.4%

2013 = 74.1%

INDIVIDUAL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION RATES – 5 YEAR DATA

Kelly Walsh High School:

2018 = 80.6%

2017 = 83.3%

2016 = 76.0%

2015 = 78.6%

2014 = 80.3%

2013 = 79.2%

Midwest High School:

2018 = 64.3%

2017 = 100%

2016 = 84.6%

2015 = 64.7%

2014 = 84.2%

2013 = 66.7%

Natrona County High School:

2018 = 84.0%

2017 = 81.8%

2016 = 80.8%

2015 = 80.4%

2014 = 76.1%

2013 = 74.7%

Roosevelt High School:

2018 = 35.4%

2017 = 45.6%

2016 = 47.4%

2015 = 42.7%

2014 = 51.3%

2013 = 43.1%

Kelly Walsh High School has seen an overall improvement in graduation rates over the past 5 years with a slight decrease from last year to this year. Natrona County High School has seen an improvement in graduation rates over the past 5 years with an increase of 2.2 percentage points from the previous year. As a District, we will continue forward with dedicated efforts towards meeting our Strategic Goal of increasing our four-year graduation rate to 85% by 2019 while empowering every learner to grow, excel, and be successful contributors to our local/global community.
