NCHS Students Excel at National FFA Convention Competitions

The Casper FFA Chapter has been busy since last spring! Three chapter officers travelled to Washington D.C. for Washington Leadership Conference and learned some amazing leadership skills. The chapter had multiple successes at county and state fair, and most importantly, they attended the National FFA Convention where they were declared a two star chapter! Students also competed at the national level in career development events. The results are as follows:

Agriscience fair had multiple categories and divisions centered around scientific research pertaining to agriculture. Parliamentary Procedure practices conducting a proper meeting following parliamentary law. In Poultry Evaluation students evaluate live birds and poultry products for quality standards and industry compliance. They also take a test on both general and specific Poultry knowledge. Environmental and Natural Resources is designed to create innovative ways to deal with waste, land, and wildlife management. Congratulations to the Casper FFA!
