Kelly Walsh High School Hosts World Language Culture Festival

Kelly Walsh High School recently hosted a World Language Culture Festival for the community to come to learn about American Sign Language, French, Spanish, and Japanese cultures and events.

Visitors were able to play traditional Japanese chopstick games and Yo-Yo Fishing. Students dressed up in ‘Sumo suits’ to wrestle each other in a traditional ring. Tacos and Crepes were cooked fresh for visitors to taste while enjoying the fun!

Students taught visitors how to use American Sign Language and to write using calligraphy. Students worked hard to show those in attendance what they have been learning about cultures from around the world!

Great Job Kelly Walsh Students!
