“How To” Guide: Navigating Campus Parent

Campus Parent is your window into your child’s world at school. Stay connected and keep track of your children’s educational career within the Natrona County School District. Campus Parent gives parents/guardians access to their child(ren)’s school information in one convenient location. Parents and Guardians can go online to Campus Parent to set notification preferences for the upcoming school year. We encourage you to go online and set your notification preferences before the first day of school to ensure you receive timely and accurate information throughout the year!

 

New Parent Portal User – First Time Account Creation

  • Visit the Campus Parent Login Page 
  • Select “New User” to open the Campus Activation Key page 
  • Locate your Campus Activation Key in the email account you provided during the student enrollment process
    • NCSD sent an activation key email on August 23, 2019 to all parents/guardians that currently do not already have a Campus Parent Portal account configured. This email contains a unique activation key that will expire on September 30, 2019.
    • If you don’t find the key in the email you provided, please be sure to check your spam folder
    • Please call the Infinite Campus Help Line at 307-253-5306 if you do not find an email with an activation key
  • Once you have submitted your Activation Key you will be asked to create your user name and password

Creating your user name and password

  • Create a user name – use both letters and numbers to create your user name
  • Create a password
    •  Use an alphanumeric password. Passwords should be at least 6 characters long. If system preferences have been set to require a Strong Password, it must meet three of the four qualifications:
      • A lower case letter (a, j, r, etc.)
      • An upper case letter (A, J, R, etc.)
      • A number (3, 7, 1, etc.)
      • A symbol (@, %, &, etc.)
    • Re-enter the password in the Verify Password field.
  • Click “CREATE ACCOUNT”

To reset your user name and/or password

  • Select the Forgot Your Password? Directions for the password reset process will be sent to the email address the District has on record for you. Please check your spam folder for this email.
  • Select the Forgot Your Username? Directions for the user name reset process will be sent to the email address the District has on record for you. Please check your spam folder for this email.
  • Users can request to receive the forgotten username up to 5 times per day. On the sixth try, the user will be locked out of the account and will need to wait until the next day to try again. All usernames associated with the email address entered will be listed in the email.
