NCSD Students Develop Health Science Skills and Knowledge with Sports Medicine Courses!

Through the Sports Medicine program of study, students develop their health science knowledge, build strong professional skills, and practice emergency management techniques. Engaging in hands-on learning, student lessons focus on providing emergency care, triage, and managing life-threatening situations for physically active populations with clinical and field experience. Students are able to earn their CPR certification and gain experience with splinting, spine boarding, suturing, and cold water immersion.

An extension of Natrona County’s high school system, Pathways Innovation Center is focused on preparing tomorrow’s workforce through academic, career and technical studies by providing students with an authentic and rigorous learning environment in order to graduate productive citizens who are college, career, and military ready.
