The Natrona County School District is excited to work with school families as you prepare for your child's next steps toward Kindergarten! Although the start of Kindergarten for the next school year is still some time away, NOW is the time to begin preparing for the upcoming School Choice Registration 2025-2026.

NCSD Climate Survey 2024-2025 - Deadline Extended
The Natrona County School District is committed to ensuring all district environments are safe, orderly, supportive, and conducive to a climate of high expectations for students, staff, and the community.
The 2024-2025 Climate Survey deadline has been extended to December 20th, 2024. Opportunities to complete this survey will be provided to students in grades 4-12, parents/guardians, and staff members.
Please check your Parent News email for the survey link and/or contact your child's school.
The purpose of this survey is to measure our work on engagement, environment, and safety. This survey is anonymous, and the information gained from this survey will be used to help implement improvements at all schools and facilities. If you have students at multiple schools, please fill out a separate survey for each school.
Dual Language Immersion Parent Meetings: NEW Kindergarten Families for 2025-2026 School Year
NCSD Kindergarten Enrollment for the upcoming 2025-2026 Academic Year begins during the School Choice Registration window. Dual Language Immersion is a parent choice program that begins in Kindergarten at the following schools: Paradise Valley Elementary School (Mandarin Chinese), Park Elementary School (Spanish), and Verda James Elementary School (Spanish). Parents and guardians must choose the DLI option during the School Choice Registration process and attend an informational meeting to be eligible for potential enrollment into the DLI program(s).
The DLI parent meetings for incoming kindergarten students are scheduled for the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 6:00 PM
- Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM
- Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
All of the above meetings will be held at NCSD's Central Services.
