Notification of Parental Rights Policy

The Board of Trustees of Natrona County School District #1, Natrona County School District #1, recognizes the right of parents to make decisions regarding the care and control of their children. Board Policy 4010 outlines the rights of parents related to notification and records of their students, including those rights described in Wyoming Statute 21-3-135. Parents and guardians will be notified annually of their right to file a complaint if they believe their rights, as described in this policy, have been violated.

NCSD Social, Academic, Emotional, Behaviors Risk Screener

Natrona County School District (NCSD) utilizes SAEBRS or Social, Academic, Emotional, Behaviors Risk Screener to help identify social-emotional and behavior needs of students in order to provide the appropriate strategies to help students achieve in all areas. This requires teachers of students in kindergarten through eighth grade to complete a social-emotional screener in the winter.

    • On the right side of the home page
  • Complete all items under this list 
      • Notification of Parental Rights Policy 4010
      • SAEBRS - Opt In/Out  (NCSD Social, Academic, Emotional, Behaviors Risk Screener) 
      • Parental Acknowledgement forms (Directory release, media release, etc.) 

If you cannot access these documents electronically or would like to be provided a paper copy of the acknowledgment forms for signing, please contact your child’s school.
