Earning a Superior Rating for the 14th year in a row at the Wyoming State Marching Band Festival, these talented students also swept the caption awards in Percussion, Guard, Marching, Music, and Winds!
The KWHS Marching Band competed at the Univerisity of Wyoming/Troopers Marching Band Invitational earlier this month. This highly competitive marching band show highlights the work and talent of remarkable student musicians and educators across the region. KWHS Trojans took 1st place at the Invitational, an extraordinary feat they also accomplished last year.
"I am proud to see the KW Marching Band earning recognition as one of the strongest in the region. The students feel a giant responsibility to perform at a high level, and our band staff is beyond pleased to see them continue that great success. We worked very hard this week on visual imagery and helping manifest the performance we knew they were capable of. The KW Band has really made the city of Casper proud," shared Brent Rose, KWHS Director of Bands.
Congratulations, Kelly Walsh High School band!
