Roosevelt High School Celebrates New CTE Classroom!

Earlier this month, Roosevelt High School students, staff, school families, and NCSD Trustees excitedly gathered to unveil the new RHS Career and Technical Education Space!

Roosevelt High School renovated what was formerly a theatre space into a high-tech CTE classroom. The space, filled with table saws, drill presses, sanders, and more, will provide Roosevelt students with the opportunity to take introductory woodshop and drafting courses that will prepare them for future Pathways Innovation Center courses.

During the unveiling celebration, families heard from Principal Jim Catlin, and Associate Superintendent Walt Wilcox on the work done to transition this space and the wonderful opportunities this space will create for Roosevelt High School students. Students and families then had the chance to tour the room and check out all the new equipment while enjoying some sweet Bulldog-themed treats!

Roosevelt High School is committed to engaging, real-world learning through strong relationships, high expectations, and a safe, structural learning environment.
