Students not only showcased their tremendous spelling skills and talents, but they also displayed their good sportsmanship and public speaking skills. Students in grades 2nd-8th grade completed the first round of written tests at their schools, including three tests consisting of multiple-choice spelling and vocabulary words followed by one written spelling test. From the initial round, twenty-five spellers moved forward to the oral round portion in the District Spelling Bee. These tremendous twenty-five literary masters wowed the audience with their exceptional spelling skills.
Congratulations to the top five students who will move on to demonstrate their excellent spelling skills in the State Spelling Bee.
