At this time, the Casper-Natrona County Health Department, in partnership with the Natrona County School District, is excited to announce all NCSD employees have the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. While highly encouraged, the vaccine is not mandatory or required.
The Casper-Natrona County Health Department is currently in Phase 1B of the vaccination distribution, sub-group 7: K-12 Education.
“With the beginning of this new phase, we’re able to provide vaccines to the educators who are so integral in our community. While we know this wait has been difficult, we are now receiving enough routine shipments to provide adequate vaccinations within this next phase. We greatly appreciate the collaboration of the Natrona County School District as we roll this out to NCSD staff. We are hopeful this is a positive next step in working our way towards getting back to normal” CNCHD Public Information Officer Hailey Bloom said.
COVID-19 Vaccinations for Natrona County School District employees are administered by the Casper-Natrona County Health Department located at 475 S. Spruce, Casper, WY, 82601.
The vaccine consists of a two-shot series.
At this time, NCSD employees can contact the CNCHD to schedule an appointment. More details and further information has been directly provided to all NCSD employees.
