SFA Tutoring Reinforces and improves the reading skills of first, second and third graders, using tutors in a one-to-one 20 minute session with identified students. SFA KinderCorner/KinderRoots Provides a foundation in oral language development, interactive reading, and comprehension to help students develop as emerging readers and writers. SFA Reading Roots with Fast Track Phonics Systematic lessons of word attack skills while students learn to read in meaningful context. SFA Reading Wings and Targeted Treasure Hunts Builds comprehension strategies, fluency, and an enjoyment in reading as the students learn to understand more complex reading materials (narrative & expository). SFA Family Support Integration of services through partnerships with parents, school, and community so that every child can be successful. SFA School Facilitator Supports teacher and student growth, develops program expertise and assists in the development of support systems for students, staff and families.
