We Read

department_photoWe Read is a partnership between the Natrona County School District, the Casper Star-Tribune, and the Natrona County Public Library. The purpose of We Read is to support literacy as a community, encourage families to read together at home, and increase children's access to high-quality books.

Through We Read, students in kindergarten through third grade receive a free children's book each month. Every week, the Casper Star-Tribune publishes a special "My Trib" section that includes literacy activities for families to do together related to the free books and to NCSD essential curriculum skills.

To learn more about the program, contact your school's library media technician or Linda Krafft in the NCSD Library & Technology Resource Center.

We Read has just launched a new website to support the My Trib. Visit www.WeReadNatrona.com.
