January School Request Process

The Natrona County School District will conduct its annual online open enrollment for the 2015-16 school year from Jan. 9th-22nd, 2015. Open houses will be held at all NCSD schools between Jan. 6th-15th for your convenience and to help you choose a school.

This process is designed to allow families to request their top three choices for schools. This process is necessary for those families who are new to the district, those who have children changing schools, and those who have a student starting kindergarten, middle school, or high school in the 2015-16 school year.

Families of current students in kindergarten through 11th grade will receive information on this process either via e-mail or U.S. mail in early January. The Family Guide catalog is available on our website (click on the link at the bottom of this page) or at any school. Families will also receive a separate letter with a unique username and password for the school request process. DO NOT THROW AWAY THIS LETTER! When they visit www.natronaschools.org, they will be asked to enter the username and password, then they will be allowed to request three schools for their child.

Families who are new to the district can pick up catalogs and additional information from any school or district office. All publications also are available online at www.natronaschools.org.

Families who need help translating information, can contact our bilingual specialist at (307) 253-3171.

Families who miss this open enrollment window (Jan. 9 - 22) will have fewer choices of schools in the fall of 2015. The open enrollment process is crucial to helping the district plan for the number of students at each school and assign staff members appropriately.
