Science Depot
Welcome to the Science Depot, the new center for the Natrona County School District’s science kits. The center is located in the old Fairdale Gym by Star Lane Center and is home to the science kits when they are not in use in the classroom.
Elementary K-3rd teachers rotate kits between Fall and Spring semesters. Rotations are as follows:
Round 1 – August 27, 2012 to December 12, 2012
Round 2 – February 7, 2013 to May 15, 2013
Elementary 4-5 grade teachers email the depot in April for the following year's kit choice. If teachers do not email the depot with their choice, a selection will be made for them.
Middle school teachers need to email or call the Depot in April if they need consumable/refurbishment materials for the following school year.
There are additional K-8 support kits available for teachers who would like to expand science in their classrooms. Contact Amber French, 307-253-3149, fax 307-253-3148, and she will advise and support you on a choice.
Kit leaders: pending assignment. Call Amber French if you have a question about a kit.
The Science Depot will soon have our own website published that can be accessed by a link from this page.
