Que Pasa, fellow teachers, and welcome to NCSD #1! As you know, my name is Karla, and I have been teaching in this district since 1990. Welcome to Natrona County School District! I have worked in this district for the past 15 years. Prior to that, I was a director of a preschool in Casper for three years, and taught in Glenrock, WY, for 11 years. I have been a mentor for new faculty since the program began in the school district. I have teaching experience in every grade preschool through sixth grade with the exception of first grade. My family consists of my husband of 30 years and my two sons. I hold a Master's Degree in Literacy from Lesley University. My job is to help new teachers with their needs and their new transition to NCSD. Please feel free to contact me with any of your needs. Call my cell phone at 251-0844 or e-mail me at kathy_christensen@natronaschools.org.

I have worked in Natrona County Schools for the past 16 years. I have learned a great deal from the multiple staff development opportunities our district has provided every year. My two sons have received an excellent education from NCSD staff, and I am very happy we chose to call Casper home. I look forward to collaborating and working with all the new staff. Many new and innovative programs are under way this year in the district. I look forward to helping teachers implement new strategies. New teachers should feel free to call me anytime! Call my cell at 267-6414 or e-mail ken_hampton@natronaschools.org.

I am very excited to be one of the Natrona County School District Mentors. Natrona Country School District is a wonderful place to work and provides many opportunities for advancement and growth. I started in the district 13 years ago as a first year teacher. I have worked in a variety of positions and grade levels throughout my time. I received my Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning and am endorsed as a K-12 administer. I have had the opportunity to lead several staff development trainings and have presented at the National Middle School conference three times. My two favorite hobbies are golfing and photography. I look forward to working with you. Please call (307-267-0868) or email me at stephanie_shafer@natronaschools.org. with any questions, concerns, or celebrations you wish to share!
