Manor Heights Makes a Difference

For the third year in a row, Manor Heights Elementary School will participate in a literary project to benefit the community. All students will read "Dex: The Heart of a Hero," by Caralyn Buehner. The book focuses on using heroic behavior and never giving up! Anyone can be heroic in their actions! All classes will participate in selling lemonade to help raise money for Jason's Friends and The Humane Society! The lemonade stand will be open daily after school the week of April 30, and then every Friday until the last day of school. For more information, call the school at 253-1800.
