KW Supports Relay for Life with the Trojan Trek

Kelly Walsh High School Principal Brad Diller urges the community to walk the Trojan Trek for Relay for Life in July.

To get involved, teams of 24 walkers are needed (one walker per hour: midnight to 11 p.m.), with a designated team captain. Each walker of each team is asked to raise $100 each hour they are on the track. This equates to 744 consecutive hours of walking and $74,400! Money can be raised by pledges and/or donations and all proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society.

For more information or to sign up, please call Kathi Hawley at 253-2091. Startup packets are available in the main office at KW. Any walkers under the age of 18 will need to submit a permission slip to their team captain. The deadline for participation is the day before your scheduled walk. A memorial wall will be up for walkers to write the name of whom they are walking for.
