Western Winds Marching Band Places Second in Cody Stampede Parades

The Western Winds Marching Band is a joint venture between the Natrona County School District and the Casper Troopers. The band is comprised of students from Casper, in grades six through 12.

The band recently competed in the Cody Stampede Parades in Cody, placing second out of five high school bands! The more than 100-member band is also scheduled to appear in the Casper Fair Parade July 10, and a Cheyenne Frontier Days Parade July 21.

The Western Winds Band is under the direction of Natrona County School District band directors Chris Ehrlich, Sarah Hanson, Gregory Paulson and Scott Reinsbach. Drum majors for the band are Pheaby Amick, Gabe Miller, Briar Vig and Joee Martin.
