Parents, community: Participate in accreditation review
10.20.2011
Dr. Joel Dvorak, Natrona County School District superintendent, invites all parents and community members to participate in the upcoming accreditation review. NCSD schools are accredited with the Wyoming Department of Education on a yearly basis, though on-site visits occur every five years. This is the first time NCSD will be going through a districtwide accreditation site visit Oct. 24 through 27.
There are two opportunities in which parents can participate:
* Monday, Oct. 24, at 1:15 p.m., in the Jefferson Room at the Central Services Facility (CSF), 970 N. Glenn Rd.
* Parents also are welcome to participate in their child's school interviews. We urge interested parents to contact your school for the date and time of their parent interviews.
There will be a public report-out at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, in the Jefferson Room at CSF, followed by the NCSD Board of Trustees meeting.
For more information, please contact Mike Bond, executive director of Human Resources, at 253-5235.
