Mr. Hahn was raised in the metropolitan city of Lusk, WY. He attended Casper College on a music scholarship and then changed his major several times. Mr. Hahn graduated with a degree in Diesel Technology. He worked for Cummings Diesel for five years until the lure of the oilfield brought him to Cameron Valve and Wellhead. Mr. Hahn had a long and illustrious career there until the end of 1999. After twenty years of chasing the rigs Mr. Hahn choose a new direction for his life. In January of 2000 he enrolled at Casper College again. This time he stayed with his initial major of Elementary Education. He received two degrees from Casper College, an associate of arts and an associate of science degree, in Elementary Education. As a member of Phi Beta Kappa he graduated with honors. Mr. Hahn went on to earn a bachelors degree from the University of Wyoming
in Elementary Education.
Mr. Hahn's first assignment was as a Title One Reading and Math teacher at Paradise Valley Elementary. He went on to branch out into the arts teaching art at Mountain View Elementary and then at Crest Hill Elementary and North Casper Elementary. During these assignments Mr. Hahn has also been a science enrichment teacher.
Mr. Hahn is enjoying his present assignment as the Sixth Grade Teacher at Pineview Elementary. He hopes to spend many wonderful years at Pineview.
