Open House Schedule Released

In an effort to ensure all parents and students are as informed as possible leading up to the Open Enrollment period for the 2018-19 school year, NCSD has announced the schools’ Open House schedule that begins next week. The schedule can be found online here:  http://natronaschools.org/open-house-schedule-2018-19-enrollment/

FAST Assessment System Info for Parents

NCSD uses The FAST assessment system for screening purposes in reading and math for grades K, 1, 2, and 3.  This helps our schools identify students who may need additional help to meet this year’s student learning goals.  To help us know which students might have academic or behavior difficulties, the students complete screening tests provided by FastBridge Learning two times each school year for all students and three times a year for students identified as needing assistance. Click here to learn more about the FAST assessments.

NCSD Inclement Weather Protocol

As our temperatures drop and snow begins to fall, it’s time to begin thinking about the possibility of weather-related school closures. Communications on school closures are sent out via text, phone call, and email. News agencies will be contacted to send the message to the community. Updates will also be posted on NCSD’s social media sites.
