Students Celebrate Wyoming Reads!
The program, honoring the late Sue Jorgensen, includes celebrations in all of
Wyoming’s 23 counties, distributing books to over 7,000 first graders in
2008 .Each year since 2006, the Governor has issued a proclamation
declaring Wyoming Literacy Day to fall in conjunction with this valuable
statewide celebration. Mr. John Jorgensen leads this group of
extraordinary educators and civic leaders to celebrate and honor his late
wife’s commitment to literacy and books.
Summer Food Service Program
Natrona County School District announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program. With summer right around the corner, it’s time to make sure kids eat healthy meals while out of school. Free meals will be made available to children under age 18 may come and eat free meals, at the following sites:
