Verda James Students Use Their Creativity and Culinary Skills to Bring Books to Life!
On April 11th, students at Verda James celebrated their 2nd Annual Edible Bookfest. With over 60 entries the library tables were lined with culinary delights representing characters, themes, and ideas from student participant’s favorite books.

Proposed Regulations on Community Use of Facilities
The Natrona County School District is exploring changes to how facilities and grounds owned and operated by the district are reserved for non-school use.
The goals of these regulations are:
To provide improved customer service to the community
Continue to offer employee wellness opportunities
Allow school personnel to focus on student activities and events
Provide affordable fee structure
Continue to offer a safe environment
Some of the proposed changes are:
Centralized reservation system
Standardized fee schedule across the district
Advanced payment of fees
Online application and payment system
NCSD employee supervision at events
Application process open July 1 of each school year
Rental fees will be collected by the NCSD Business Services department
