Journey Elementary Students Touch a Truck

Journey Elementary kindergarten and first grade students participated in Touch a Truck on Tuesday, November 7. Members of the community brought a fire truck, an ambulance, a police car, a Metro Animal Control truck, a bulldozer and dump truck from Ramshorn Construction, and 2 tow trucks from MAD Towing. Journey Elementary teachers invited the organizations from our community to bring their vehicles and machinery to help kick off their Community Helpers Unit. The students were able to learn about each profession, investigate their tools, and tour the trucks. Check out the photo gallery below.
