All Four NCSD High Schools Named Next Gen Personal Finance Gold Standards Schools

Kelly Walsh High School, Midwest High School, Natrona County High School, and Roosevelt High School were all recently named Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF) Gold Standard Schools. In order to qualify for this distinction a high school must require ALL students take a standalone, one semester personal finance course in order to graduate.

In addition to recognizing the four NCSD high schools, NGPF named KWHS teacher Jill Thompson their “FinHero” of the month. As part of this recognition Thompson was invited to appear on NGPF’s Advocacy Podcast to speak about her experiences in helping to make financial literacy a graduation requirement at NCSD. Check out Jill’s interview online here: https://www.ngpf.org/blog/advocacy/ngpf-advocacy-podcast-christian-talks-with-personal-finance-advocate-jill-thompson/
